May 24th - Test and Tune at Houston Raceway Park.

There are a few of us that are going to the track tonight. I will bring my camera but I am not sure how much footage I will get. I will only be running 75hp NOS. I am trying to get used to the current setup before I start messing with it again.

Well I forgot to bring a camera so there are no pictures. My car number was 177 but with the Rain-X on the windows it made the numbers hard for the tower to read so in order on the time slips I am car# 147, 177, 171, and 177. Even though the clutch was slipping BAD I was still able to work on my reaction time.

 Here are the results:

1st run: 15.397 <-- new fastest time for me. Ended up being my fastest run of the night too. I am now the 3rd fastest Saturn at DragTimes.com and the 5th fastest in the SPS Hall of Fame.

2nd run: 15.444 <-- clutch started slipping and slipped for the rest of the night.

3rd run: 15.492 <-- bad clutch, bad

4th and final run: 15.534 <-- do we see a pattern here?

I am going to order the Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch and Aluminum Flywheel from SPS. I should have it broken in by August for the next Drag Wars.
