Another Owner who has now waited OVER 2 months and still no word

Here is my personal account of business, or lack of, from Nick.

6-8-2000 - Initial reply to inquiry including price and mailing address for pulleys

6-21-2000 - Reply to my email asking if he got my money:
"I got it, will get to it soon, REALLY busy, hehehe, i'll keep you posted."

6-29-2000 - Reply to another request for status:
"Yours is in the next set to get done.

Finally got the big job out of the way, but now i have car troubler too,
bounced it off a guardrail last night when some numpty-ass cut me off.

It should be out by next week.

7-10-2000 - Reply to yet another status request:
"Been VERY busy, just getting caught up now, it should be out by the end
of the week.

7-24-2000 - Reply to last status request:
"They went out on friday. Sorry for the delay.

Nick"

As you can see, a month AFTER he confirmed he got my money my parts were finally shipped. It was one excuse after another about how my order was being delayed. There was no mention about a big order being in front of me and he confirmed that my parts would be out "very soon". 1 month AFTER he gets paid is not "very soon".


1-26-2001 12:37AM - First email I got from individual.

Hey my name is ***** and I ran across you web
page about your SL1. I have ordered my set of
underdrive pulleys but that was like 2 months ago.
When I first asked about them I was told that " I
would receive them very quickly". What a load of crap
I am still waiting for them! I am writing you to find
out how long it took you to get your pulleys and also
what kind of difference you noticed. Thanks for your
help.

1-26-2001 8:22 AM - A copy of the letter he wrote to Nick Boers about the status of his order.

I am writing to check on the status of my order. When
I first contacted you I was told you were about to
"make a run of the pulleys" and if I got you the
order/money order I should have them pretty quickly.
It is now almost 2 months later and I still don't have
them. Please let me know where you are at on my order
and when they will be shipped out to me. Thanks

2-9-2001 9:22 AM - Final confirmation that he did Finally receive the pulleys and authorized me to post these letters.

Hey, I finally got my pulleys installed. So you can go
ahead and post what you like on your web page. Please
leave my name out though. Thanks! Good luck, its quite
ridiculous how I waited a few days short of two months
to get my parts. Really bad service!

Nick,

A copy of the last correspondence with you is listed below. These pulleys
were ordered in January and I still have not received them. You have also
failed to answer my last inquiry, dated 3/22/2001, regarding the status of
my order.

I am again requesting the status of my order for my Saturn SOHC underdrive
pulley set. These pulleys were ordered and paid for with a Money Order dated
January 26, 2001 in the amount of $145.00 US Dollars.

Time and time again, you have promised that the pulleys were being finished
and would be shipped promptly. I am very disappointed with the amount of
time it has taken to produce this pulley set and ship them. Your website
states that the typical turnaround time from receipt of payment is 3 weeks.
You have exceeded this time frame by approximately 5 weeks.

Orders are filled upon receipt of payment. Typical time from receipt of
payment to shipping is currently around 3 weeks.

At this point I am requesting an explanation as to why I have yet to receive
the product that I have paid for as well as some idea as to when, or if, I
can ever expect them to arrive. If you are unable to deliver these pulleys
as promised, then I would like to request a prompt refund of all monies
paid.

I also expect that a new belt is being shipped along with my pulleys as your
website clearly states.

Goodyear belts are now being shipped with all orders, and prices did not
change!!

The first bunch have been sent out on friday, the next bunch will be
completed early this week. Your order is currently #5 on the list, and
will go out in the next bunch.

The first two operations are already completed on them, they just have
to go for final machining now.

I'm making a large run of the Saturn sets next week, i've cleared some
time on the machine for them. Yours will be going out by the end of next
week.
